Al/Tina, thank you both for your reply. I will let Vibram know as well, but one thing I did was add tape to the back of my flows and I was fine on the short walk/runs made. When I 1st wore my flows I took them on a two day hike of Manhattan, no, I didn't quite ease into them. I have to admit I looking for the kso Treks next. All the best.

Hi Akwesi,
I have a pair of Flows and noticed that when I don't wear socks, the back can dig into my achilles a bit, too. With socks, I don't feel it at all. Have you tried wearing socks with them? If you have and they still dig, my advice would also be to contact Vibram.

Hi Akwesi,
I would suggesting contacting Vibram and seeing what they have to recommend. They may have a solution for you.

I love my 5 fingers I have, but the new pair I have, The Flow , after 2 days I realize how it was digging into my achiles. Unfortunately I worn them out abt the streets of NY and it's no longer resellable. What else can I do, put my own foam padding in the back?
