We posted information several days ago about a sale that VIVOBAREFOOT was having. It caused a lot of confusion for our US customers.
It turns out this sale was indeed only targeted to those living in the UK. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused.
For future sale updates we suggest you visit the Terra Plana website and subscribe to the mailing list. This will enable you to get information specific to your market area.
As you read our reviews, please keep in mind that our reviewers review shoes in terms of their suitability for those looking to find the highest quality minimalist shoe products. All reviews are as factual as possible. In an effort to be transparent and ethical, we will point out any defects found, even if these do not affect the usability of the product. Not all defects will be present in final production shoes as we are sometimes offered “seconds” or pre-release products in an effort to provide you with reviews in a timely manor. In the event that serious issues are found with a review sample we will give every opportunity for the manufacturer to replace to explain the review samples before the final review is released. We never accept payments for reviews. We do not guarantee a good review for any products sent to us. We do not review products that do not claim to be minimalist or “barefoot like” unless we receive a significant number of requests from readers or listeners.
Should you have any questions about our review process or would like your product reviewed on our site, please do not hesitate to contact us using our contact page.

Is this Vivobarefoot sale only for the UK? The given code does not work on the U.S. site.
Hi Jay,
I’ve just checked an it is for any online OR UK purchases but does not include the Aqua, Evo, or Neo models… What model were you looking to buy? If you still have trouble post another comment and we’ll contact Terra Plana directly to see if we can get more information for you and resolve the issue!
Same situation here. I’m in the US and was hoping to try a pair of Aquas.
Repeat: coupon does not work on US site does on UK site but thats no good. I was looking to find Lucy’s not an excluded model.
Aquas are not part of the year-end sale sadly, but I will look into it in case there is something else we can set up.
Thanks Diane, will land get back to everyone here…
I was looking to pick up a pair of Oak’s, but at 40% off I would be willing to try something else. What is available in the U.S. for the year end sale?
Hi Jason,
I’ve had a reply from one of our contacts at Vivo Barefoot… I think the information we received was confusing. It states that the sale is good “online and in the UK”… The way I would interpret this is that a sale made either Online or in the UK in a physical store would be legitimate. It seems that this was really intended to indicate that you would have to be live in the UK and order online in order to take advantage of the offer.
Vivo Barefoot is looking to confirm this for me and see whether the offer can be extended into the US.
I’ll get back to everyone here with the response!
I successfully used the 40% off code SALE40 this morning on a pair of Aquas in the US. The trick was logging into my account first. It did not work before doing that.
Use coupon code SALE40. Become a member before you enter the code and it will work. It works on everything but Neo. I bought a pair of evo2 for $96.
