Angie Chiu, 69, Wows Netizens With Her Ageless Beauty In Striking Red Gown

Fans of ‘90s Hong Kong dramas would be familiar with Angie Chiu, who played Lady Bai Suzhen in 1992 TV drama New Legend of Madame White Snake.

In fact, the actress, who is now, believe or not, 69, was such a standout in the drama, she was dubbed “the most beautiful Lady Bai”.

And it seems like 30 years later, Angie is still living up to the title.

Angie attended the Hainan Island International Film Festival this past weekend (Dec 17), and was dressed to impress in a bright red off-shoulder gown.

The veteran actress stood out that night, even when compared to much younger stars who also walked the red carpet.

Angie’s look for the festival sparked many discussions on Weibo, most of which praised her for her stunning appearance.

“Lady Bai is so graceful, her beauty is not affected by the time that has passed,” and “Despite the wrinkles on her face, she has maintained her figure so well,” were just some of the comments left by netizens.

However, one netizen ventured rudely that Angie looked “old” because “her face is full of wrinkles”.

That rude statement was quickly met with this comeback from another netizen: “People grow old, are there people who stay young forever?"
