Coco Lee, 47, Plagued By Plastic Surgery Rumours After Netizens Say Her Face Looked “Too Stiff” During CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala
Chinese broadcaster CCTV’s Chinese New Year Eve show, the Spring Festival Gala, was watched by a record 1.3 billion people. So one can say that there were many eyeballs scrutinising every inch of the stars on stage.
We guess that's how Hongkong pop diva Coco Lee, 47, ended up being one of the most talked-about performers of the night. And no, it wasn't in a good way.
Netizens are saying that Coco's face looked "too stiff" and "overly plastic" when she appeared on stage.
Unsurprisingly, rumours that she recently went under the knife or had Botox injections, which left her "unable to make natural facial expressions" quickly spread like wildfire online.

However, recent photos that Coco posted of herself while on quarantine before the gala showed her looking a lot more natural.
“Maybe she was just having a bad face day,” one netizen said, while another quipped that “CCTV may have used too much beauty filter, and so Coco became collateral damage.”
