Joshua Ang Welcomes Daughter With New Partner 8 Months After Announcing Divorce From Ex-Wife
He named her Lovelle Aurora.
While everyone was flooding social media with patriotic posts and/or pics of their red-and-white outfits on National Day, former Mediacorp star Joshua Ang, 32, casually uploaded an ultrasound photo with the caption “See you soon, Love (sic)”.
No other details were provided, such as the baby’s due date or even the identity of his baby mama.
The I Not Stupid star has not gone public with any relationships since he announced his divorce from air stewardess Shannon Low in December last year. The couple has a three-year-old son called Jedaiah Leonhart together.
Then, this morning (Aug 18), Joshua announced the arrival of his second child, a daughter he named Lovelle Aurora, and shared photos of his newly expanded family with a sticker covering his partner’s face.
“I dreamt of you, even before you were conceived,” he wrote in his caption. “Under the Northern lights, that’s where we met. So we name you, Lovelle Aurora.”
He continued, “Today, a star is born, and I met the girl that I’ll love for the rest of my life. You will always be my princess, till the edge of time.”
Joshua, who left showbiz in 2012, met his ex-wife Shannon while studying for a part-time degree and they got married in a S$50,000 Sentosa beach wedding in March 2018.
Jedaiah was born in August 2018.
On December 14 last year, he confirmed that they were divorced, and to say that the split was not amicable would be a huge understatement, with Shannon accusing Joshua of being “an abusive, violent and irresponsible father”.
Joshua responded by calling her allegations “baseless and false” and suing her for libel. That was the last time either of them addressed the saga in public.
Joshua is believed to have started seeing his new baby mama around the same time that he announced his divorce from Shannon.
Shannon had also shared a photo of Joshua “showing off his new [girlfriend]” when she was posting all her allegations against him.
