Kim Lim Got Married On 22/2/22 And Of Course Her ROM Ceremony Was Gorgeous
Ever since Kim Lim had her super extravagant Guo Da Li betrothal ceremony (with S$2mil worth of gifts, by the way), we’re sure we’re not the only ones who’ve been looking forward to seeing what her actual big day would be like.
Well, the 30-year-old just had her ROM and it was definitely as lavish as we imagined it would be.
On Tuesday (Feb 22 aka 22/2/2022), the heiress-slash-businesswoman and her IT entrepreneur husband, whom we now know is called Leslie, were one of the hundreds of couples who said “I do” on this very special and auspicious date.
But we’re very sure most other ceremonies were nowhere as fancy as Kim and Leslie's.

According to bridesmaid Xiaxue’s Instagram Stories, the day began with the wedding party getting ready and then being transported to the tea ceremony venue, which just happened to be Kim's home, in Rolls-Royces (what else?).
There, Kim changed from her white gown into a traditional kua and even had her nails done to match (her manicurist reported that she had five sets of nails done to match each of her outfits), but the real standouts were undoubtedly the piles of gold jewellery draped all over her upper body.

Wonder how much all that weighed (and cost)

And yes, Kim’s adorable son Kyden was there too!
Everyone then adjourned to an outdoor area where a massive wall covered in thousands of individually placed fresh roses had been set up, making for one ultra Instagram-worthy backdrop, as you can see for yourself:

The photography team described it as “a small and intimate celebration”

But at the same time, it was also — as Xiaxue put it — “next level”
Kim’s dad, billionaire philanthropist Peter Lim, also had a special gift for his precious daughter: A S$10,000 banknote, which she shared on Instagram along with his handwritten message.
“This special note has followed pa for a very long time and overcame many difficult years. Treasure it. All the best wishes for the future,” he wrote.

How sweet
Despite all the over-the-top opulence, Kim and Leslie — as usual — didn’t forget to give back to society.
Their wedding had delicacies “handmade by local aunty and uncle kueh artisans” to show their support of Singapore’s “local cottage industry heritage”, and all the flowers that were used for the decor were turned into bouquets and sent to an old folks’ home.
In addition, 100 bags of rice were donated to animal shelter Animal Lovers League, one of the many charities that Kim is known to support.

Sharing the joy

She’s got a big heart

Congrats to the happy couple!
