Michael B Jordan Says His Next Relationship Will "Happen When It's Supposed To Happen"
Michael B MicJordan's next relationship will happen "when it's supposed to happen".
The 35-year-old Creed star split from Lori Harvey in June, after more than a year of dating, and Jordan has revealed that he will "try to be responsible" with his next romance.
He told The Rolling Stone: "Of course I think about it, but I definitely want to try to be responsible with that, knowing how I wanted to be as present as possible. It's gonna happen when it's supposed to happen."
Jordan recently insisted that he learned a lot through his split from Harvey, 26.
Reflecting on their break-up, he explained: "I'm a firm believer in that what's for you is what's for you, and coming out of that situation — not to give it, you know, any energy and kind of move from that — is you know, it was an experience for me to grow and learn."
Jordan also insisted that he's retained an optimistic outlook.
He shared with CBS Mornings last week: "I'm in my light right now. This is my Jordan year, I mean that. This is my year. There's so much going on, so many blessings, so many great things."
Meanwhile, Harvey previously revealed that she's determined to "date on [her] terms".
The model, the daughter of TV host Steve Harvey, got engaged to soccer star Memphis Depay in 2017 and although their relationship didn't work out, Harvey learned some important lessons about her about herself and about love.
She reflected on the Luv2SeeIt YouTube series last year: "I almost got married very young.
"I felt like I hadn't really experienced anything. I didn't really know myself, I didn't really know what I liked, what I didn't like. I just feel like I hadn't really experienced life."
Harvey ultimately came to the conclusion that she wants to date on her own terms.
She added: "However I want to move, whatever I want to do, I'm going to do it. And if it's no longer serving me, I'm going to move on."
Jordan will next be seen in Creed III, in cinemas on Mar 2.
