Netizens Name Taiwanese Rocker Wu Bai As The “Most Upright” Male Celeb After Wang Leehom’s Dramatic Fall From Grace
Now that the dust is finally settling from Wang Leehom’s dramatic fall from grace following his super messy divorce, netizens are now looking to find another male celeb who’s truly deserving of the “Most Upright” title.
One netizen got the conversation flowing with this post, sharing that Taiwanese rocker Wu Bai, 53, is the clear winner.

Leehom's definitely not in the running anymore
According to said netizen, the criteria to be crowned the 'Most Upright' male celeb is surprisingly strict.
Some celebs were automatically eliminated because of their sordid dating history. Others were taken out of consideration after they were deemed as being intentionally vague about their sexual orientation in order to rake in more money. Wait, who?
And for those that weren’t knocked out by these two ‘requirements’, they were either considered to be “not famous enough”, or seen as “lacking in discussion value”. Or well, just plain boring.
So after eliminating the bulk of male celebs, the netizen sieved through the 'survivors' to look for a male singer who “has popular songs, is well known and able to land a place in the history books, has cultural impact, doesn’t put on airs or pretend to be excessively polite, and doesn’t flaunt his connections when inviting special guests to his concerts”.

Meet the new king
Somehow, it feels like this netizen would get along swimmingly with Mama Wang, who reportedly has equally strict requirements when looking for a daughter-in-law, but we digress.
In any case, the netizen eventually crowned Wu Bai as the ‘winner'.
And it appears that the Internet is in agreement.
“Teacher Wu Bai came to my mind at once,” one netizen wrote. Others also shared the same sentiment, writing that Wu Bai’s basically flawless, and on a whole 'nother level compared to other celebs.

Wu Bai has been with his wife for 18 years
Wu Bai made his showbiz debut in 1992, and has dominated the rock music scene in Taiwan since then.
In 2005, the rocker revealed in an interview that he’d tied the knot with his manager, Chen Wen Pei, in a private ceremony in Fukuoka, Japan, two years earlier.
The couple dated for 12 years before tying the knot, and celebrated their 18th anniversary this year.
To date, Wen Pei still works as his manager, and the couple has remained as low-key about their relationship as ever. Wu Bai has never had any negative rumours about his personal life as well, which we guess, makes him the definition of an “upright" celeb.
