Netizens Think Samantha Ko Just Hinted That She’s Leaving TVB In Her IG Post

Rumours are rife that TVB actress Samantha Ko is leaving the Hongkong broadcaster after 14 years.

Samantha, who turned 35 on Jan 13, joined TVB in 2008 after taking part in the Miss Hong Kong pageant.

Her popularity has been on the rise ever since she made an appearance in the mega hit Chinese drama Nothing But Thirty in 2020.

Like many TVB alums, it is said that Samantha intends to further her career in China and will not be renewing her contract with TVB.

The decision reportedly did not go down well with her bosses and things are said to be frosty between them now.

She has her sights set on the lucrative Chinese market

While Samantha has not addressed the speculation, her recent Instagram posts seem to hint that the rumours are true. At least that’s what netizens think.

Earlier this week, she shared a pic of a page from her diary. The last two sentences read: "There isn’t a tree that doesn't want to grow up, and there isn’t a flower that doesn't want to bloom."

In another IG post, Samantha wrote: "If the sky is clear, would you think of me?"

Netizens took this as a hint that she is leaving TVB and have left her messages of support.

There were comments like "Regardless of the weather, I will think of you” and "Venturing out is good! But I can’t bear [for you to leave]."
