No, Mimi Kung’s 22-Year-Old Actress Daughter Did Not Fall To Her Death; Her Manager Says She’s “Feeling Better Than Ever”
On Jul 3, netizens were shell-shocked by rumours claiming that Hongkong actress Mimi Kung's daughter Ashley Lin, who entered showbiz in 2016, had fallen to her death.
Ashley's manager quickly rubbished the fake news by saying that the 22-year-old budding actress is "feeling better than ever".
Ashley subsequently also posted a selfie on her Instagram, debunking rumours of her "death".
She's doing great, please
Inheriting her mum's great genes (just like her 18-year-old brother Addison, who apparently looks like Kim Soo Hyun), Ashley, whose dad is Chinese actor Wei Lin, is widely referred to as the "Prettiest Second-Gen Star".
Wait... isn't that supposed to be Chingmy Yau's daughter Shum Yuet?
But we digress.
In response to the absurd rumour, Ashley's manager said: "[We] don't know where this hoax came from, there's no such thing at all. You can't mindlessly joke about [something like this]. Ashley is feeling better than ever."
She also shared that the budding star will soon be doing publicity for her upcoming movie Septet: The Story of Hong Kong.
Ashley, who seemed totally unfazed by those rumours of her "death", later posted a selfie, indirectly assuring fans that she's well, still alive.
"Aren't you dead?" asked a netizen.
Ashely's reply? "Last I heard, pulling a full Casper [the ghost] on you."
