Samantha Ko Reportedly Replaced By Mandy Wong In Upcoming TVB Drama Following News That She's Leaving The Company
TVB actress Samantha Ko, who has been with the company for almost 14 years, is rumoured to have decided against renewing her contract with TVB, joining a long list of her former colleagues who have parted ways with the station recently.
The 35-year-old's rising popularity in China, along with a cryptic message that she shared last month, have convinced many that it’s a matter of time before the actress announces her departure.

Samantha in Nothing But Thirty
Samantha’s popularity skyrocketed after acting in hit Chinese drama Nothing But Thirty, and she’s said to have set her sights on the Chinese market since it’s known to pay much better than Hongkong.
According to reports, TVB is not taking news of Samantha’s departure well and have allegedly replaced her with Mandy Wong in their upcoming drama Yin Niang.
The series will be filmed in China and stars Shaun Tam, Qin Lan and Cheryl Yang.

Only time will tell if Mandy will be involved in Yin Niang
The reports also claim that TVB has arranged for Mandy to wrap filming for her other drama, Hidden Door, ahead of schedule so that she can fly to China to shoot Yin Niang.
When Samantha was asked if she's aware that she's been replaced, the actress simply said that she has “heard of Mandy going to China to work”, but that she’s “unsure” what project her colleague (soon to be ex-colleague?) will be working on.
