Selina Jen, 40, Confirms She’s In A Relationship After Being Spotted With Mystery Man In Shanghai

Nature metaphors abound as Selina Jen confirmed she is seeing someone new.

“Flowers are blooming as spring is here. Spring has arrived for me too,” gushed the S.H.E member on Weibo today (Mar 3), after Chinese media published photos of her arm in arm with a mystery man in Shanghai.

They were first spotted returning to a hotel together after grocery shopping, and on a different day, heading to the hospital to get her PCR results.

According to Taiwan Apple Daily, the 40-year-old started dating the man last September, and that he’s the 33-year-old non-celeb that she once talked about in an interview. However, attempts to confirm this with Selina’s manager didn’t pan out as he replied that Selina “wishes to protect him since he’s not from showbiz”, and that they “would not reveal details” like how long they’ve been dating, or with his occupation.

Fellow S.H.E member Ella Chen publicly congratulated Selina for going public with her new romance: “I should generously congratulate you since you’ve admitted to it so generously. You must be so happy now that spring has come.”

Selina was previously married to lawyer Richard Chang. They have remained good friends after their 2016 divorce and he’s believed to have been seeing Taiwanese actress Ivy Yin since 2019.
