Due to the surge in the Omicon variant of COVID-19, the final show of 2021 was recorded without a live audience and featured pre-recorded sketches and holiday highlights from previous seasons. “It’s going to be a bit like that new Beatles documentary,” said Rudd. “Lot of old footage but enough new stuff that you’re, like, ‘Okay, I’ll watch that.’’
