English football club Liverpool FC spread the festive cheer in more ways than one this holiday season. First was through their win against Burnley which put The Reds back at the top of the Premier League table.

Second was through this heartwarming video that was posted on the club's official social media pages.

The star of the video is 12-year-old Daire Gorman who has a rare condition called Crommelin Syndrome. As such, Gorman was born without arms from his elbow down and without a femur bone in both legs – necessitating the use of a wheelchair.

In September this year, Gorman was the subject of a viral video after he attended a Liverpool-Aston Villa match at Anfield.

The video shows Gorman sobbing uncontrollably as Liverpool supporters sing You'll Never Walk Alone, the club's anthem, in the background.

"I hoped and dreamed that I would go to Liverpool...And I got the surprise that me and dad are going to the (September) game and I just couldn't take control of the emotions," Gorman shared in an interview.

"As soon as (You'll Never Walk Alone) played, (I just had) an emotional breakdown. I tried to sing a couple of words but they couldn't come out of my mouth."

Gorman's father recorded the incident and sent the video to Ted Morris, Liverpool's Community Captain who leads the club's Disabled Supporters Association and was the person who had invited the Gorman family to the game.

With the Gormans' permission, Morris uploaded the video to X, formerly Twitter, attracting millions of views.

Amongst the people who saw it was, of course, the manager of Liverpool himself: Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp then reached out to Daire Gorman, saying that "the players and (him) absolutely loved his passion for the club". The German gaffer then invited the Gorman family to attend a Liverpool training session and meet the players, causing Daire Gorman to get emotional.

Early this month, the Gorman family visited AXA Training Centre and was given a personal tour by Klopp himself. Daire Gorman even got to meet Luis Díaz, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez.

Klopp's actions during the visit, which included him signing merchandise for the Gormans and personally pushing Daire Gorman around the training centre, have earned him significant praise, even from fans of rival clubs.

"I’m an Evertonian, but I must say that Klopp is just an awesome manager and has a big heart."

"I am a Manchester United fan but no club seems to come close to Liverpool for the value it places on fans and community."

In a heartfelt conversation with Daire Gorman, Klopp admitted: "You cannot imagine how much I enjoyed (your video)...This club is all about the people who are important and you are one of the most special (ones)."

"You might think (this experience) was fantastic for you but it was (also) fantastic for me."
