K-drama fans will want to hold onto their Netflix subscriptions this year as the streaming platform has unveiled its slate of Korean films and shows in 2024. Hit shows like Squid Game, Sweet Home and Gyeongsang Creature will be returning for new seasons, along with reality programmes Single's Inferno and Physical: 100.

Netflix has also revealed a first look at new films and shows, including Parasyte: The Grey (a South Korean live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese manga), My Name Is Loh Kiwan (starring Vincenzo actor Song Joong-ki) and The 8 Show (an adaptation of the hit webtoons Money Game and Pie Game).

A video posted by Netflix's official account on Tuesday (Feb 6) provided a glimpse of all these new K-content, as well as their estimated release periods. The first quarter of 2024 will see releases such as the second season of Physical 100 and My Name Is Loh Kiwan. The second quarter of 2024 will feature Parasyte: The Grey, as well as the new season of Sweet Home. The third quarter of this year will have the next season of Gyeongsang Creature and the final quarter of 2024 will feature Single's Inferno 4 and a new season of the reality show Zombieverse.

In a press statement, Netflix's Vice President of Content (Korea) Don Kang said: “This year, our K-content lineup delivers a diverse array of titles that capture the true essence of Korean storytellers. Whether it’s series, films, or innovative unscripted shows, we’ll share unforgettable experiences with entertainment fans worldwide and unmissable titles that you can enjoy only on Netflix."
