American singer Nicole Scherzinger has gotten fans in Singapore loosening up their buttons after posting a series of Instagram videos featuring Singapore landmarks. The first video, uploaded on Wednesday (May 1), showed Scherzinger admiring Gardens by the Bay.

The video, which was labelled as paid partnership content, also mentioned Singapore Tourism Board's Visit Singapore account in its caption.

In a subsequent video posted on May 2, Scherzinger is seen visiting famous local landmarks including Haw Par Villa and Sentosa Sensoryscape. The video shows her strutting about in various eye-catching outfits. Her most recent video of Singapore even had her dancing to Beyonce's Texas Hold 'Em.

It is not known when these videos were filmed or if more videos can be expected.

This is not the first time the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has collaborated with a Hollywood celebrity. In 2022, the organisation worked with singer Charlie Puth in a video which saw him visiting the Marina Bay waterfront promenade, Long Bar at Raffles Singapore and the Joo Chiat district.

STB's Regional Director (Europe) Kershing Goh told CNA Lifestyle that the singer partnered with STB on Mar 21 to produce content in line with the Made in Singapore campaign, adding that Scherzinger's international celebrity status as well as her "passion for travel and her curiosity for discovery" resonated with STB's campaign.

Goh also shared that Scherzinger's collaboration with STB was part of the launch of the Made in Singapore campaign in Europe. The campaign also featured two-Michelin-starred celebrity chef Tom Kerridge and football personality Jeremy Lynch.

Goh said: "By sharing Singapore’s diverse offerings authentically through our partners and influencers, we hope to drive destination desirability, connect with our travellers emotionally through storytelling and inspire meaningful travel to our vibrant city."
